Mary-Beth Busby

Mary-Beth is the mother of two adult sons with Fragile X and that she and her husband, David served on the founding board of the FRAXA Research Foundation, which was started in 1994 to raise funds for research on Fragile X. David was FRAXA's lobbyist and the two of them have lobbied the Congress for increased federal funding for Fragile X research. She has spoken to  numerous groups about her experiences raising two sons with intellectual disabilities and is the author, with Megan Massey, of a book called, "Dear Megan, Letters on Life, Love and Fragile X."
